KuKuk cares about maintaining a culture of participation

People today are expected to be active, committed and responsible citizens. Everyone who should or wants to get involved with his community, must get the chance from an early age on to learn this. This includes above all actively co-designing the environment. Therefore KuKuk plans and constructs when requested together with all involved and future users. Children, teenagers and adults should have the opportunity to influence the process in their environment, with their ideas, interests and wishes. They often develop good solutions and introduce new aspects and perspectives. Everyone involved will therefore have the greatest possible creative freedom in order to promote creative processes.

When young people under guidance, learn to work with machines and tools, it means for many, to get first or completely new views in mechanical skills, whereby practical skills will be awakened and strengthened. Dealing with natural material and simple, original construction methods create a stronger bond to nature. Beyond this, experiences have shown, that humans respond with maximum capacity, if given confidence, responsibility and a chance to participate. Even vandalism evidently decreases when the users are involved in the planning and realization process.

Whether school classes want to design their schoolyard or private initiatives are involved in a private project, there will be a long lasting and inspiring effect.
